It all began with a moment of brilliance from our founder, Alun Hobbs. Through his ingenuity, he revolutionised valve technology, birthing the Triple Offset Butterfly Valve. By thinking outside the box, he engineered a valve that boasts superior flow, unrivalled reliability, and significantly reduced maintenance downtime.

In 2006, Hobbs Valve became the first manufacturer to deliver a fire safe Triple Offset Butterfly Valve in line with BS EN ISO 10497:2004 and API Std 607:2005 5th Edition.

In 2010 Hobbs Valve became the first manufacturer to deliver a fire safe certified Nickel Aluminium Bronze Triple Offset Butterfly Valve to  the later standard BS EN ISO 10497:2010 .
